Jack Flanagan’s Miller table was originally created as a display stand for Venn Design Store in Perth and has lived on as a sleek coffee table.
The tilting head is influenced Miller’s iconic camera stands (Australian Bob Miller revolutionised film making when he created the world’s first ‘fluid head’ for tripods in 1946).
Flanagan has simplified the design to a single aluminium joiner, bringing the timber elements together.
His collection has the underlying intent to create furniture and objects that will be treasured and passed on to future generations.
